Warning:  gContactSynch is beta software.  According to the website, it was last updated in July of 2009.  Since there are a lot of bugs listed, there have been no replies to any bug report, and there have been no updates since July of 2009, I highly suggest visitors do not use this software.  I am listing it only to maintain a complete list of sync software solutions.

gContactSynch is a solution from Google to sync Outlook contacts with Google Contacts.  The Android device can then sync with Google Contacts.  This software is in beta testing and may not yet work properly.  The warning on the site is as follows:

This is beta-quality software. Please be sure to make backup copies of your information before using this application.

This software currently indicates it only works with Outlook 2007.  I have personally tried it and it did not function.  There is the ability to report issues with the software at the website, but there is no documentation or help beyond that.

It is odd that Google already has a fully functional contact sync software in Google Apps and yet someone at Google started developing a new contacts sync software.  Why not just make their currently operational contact sync software available?

In any case, this solution is available for download, but I suggest against it until it is developed further.  Click on the link below for further details from Google:
