Warning: The following is beta software and may not work properly. If you are looking for well performing software, I suggest you look to another solution until NitroNote has completed it's testing phase.
NitroNote is free software to sync Outlook notes with notes on an Android device through a USB connection. The software is produced by the famous NitroDesk who produce the TouchDown for Exchange sync software. There are two parts to NitroNote. There is NotesSync which is the PC side sync software and an Android app for the Notes and syncing support. They currently provide this software through a listing at Google Groups and unofficially support it there with Google Discussions as well.
NitroDesk informs us that this is currently beta testing software and as such is free and not yet available on the Android market. They warn the users to back up their notes prior to use and that one day the software may cost a few bucks when it is no longer being tested.
When I tried this software, the first sync worked properly and I could see all my notes. Further syncs made my notes on the Android disappear, although they remained in Outlook. I could create a new note on the Android and it would sync with Outlook, but the Outlook notes would just not sync back to the Android. After clearing the notes from the Android and performing another sync, they all showed up again. This is why they call it beta software.

NitroNote allows you two modes of operations. You can view them in read-only mode, which is nice so you don't accidentally change your note. There is also the normal edit mode.
