I am listing and presenting this software to be thorough.  It is my opinion that this dated software is not worth the time to read about or install.  You have been informed.

Outlook Synchronization Server is paid software from Avamboo to sync Outlook contacts through Wi-Fi with an Android device.  Client software is installed on the Android which syncs with the Server software which is installed on the PC and integrated into Outlook.

The Avamboo website has an instruction manual to help you install their product.  Outlook Synchronization Server only syncs Outlook 2003 and 2007 and there is a specific version of the Server necessary for each version of Outlook.  Only contacts are synced and this takes place over Wi-Fi only.

The website notes that there are two versions available depending on which version of Android you are using.  If you use Android 1.5 or 1.6 there is one version.  If you use Android 2.0 on your device, there is a different version.  Nowhere does it state if Android 2.1 or higher is supported.  This indicates (to me) that the site (or product) has not been updated in quite some time and may not work with the recent versions of Android.

I have attempted to contact the vendor for more information on their product, but never received a response.  I also installed the demo version, but never got it to work with my Android 2.2 device as I suspected.  Android Market feedback indicates the product did not work for anyone who tried it and left feedback.

There is a contact form on their website if you have any problems.  However, the contact page is in German, so you will need a browser translator to read it unless you understand German.

If you wish to give it a try, the link to their site is listed below.  This section is in English.
